This site is dedicated to the build up for a 1970 VW bug. Hopefully the car will transform from the standard road-going car into a rally monster of years old. Mark and I plan on restoring it to the historic beatles that raced in the 1970′s under the Volkswagen Porsche Austria team. A few enhancements will be added, like a more powerful engine and a slightly better suspension, but for the most part it should be as close to the original as possible. It will be built under the Rally America rule set and legal for Group 2 / Group F.
